Myanmar New Minimum Wages Law for labor

Myanmar had minimum wages law for a long time. But it only include how to form the commission, the rights and responsibilities of the commission. The rate of the wages did not implement in the old minimum wages law. In accordance with the old law, the commission will order the rate of minimum wages.

The new is not coming out yet.  In the draft of new minimum wages law, it do not involve the rate of minimum wages. It will also form the commission of the minimum wages. The commission will make the rate of minimum wages in accordance with the field of the worker.

Yesterday, the parliament (Pyi Thu Hluttaw) implement the amendment of minimum wages law.
