More than three Japanese auto companies
have discussed with the Myanmar Auto Industry and Trading Ltd to open an online
auction centre, including a dealership and service centre in Myanmar.
Auto Server Co, Japan Automobile Auto
and Itochu Enex Co are the companies interested in online auto auctions.
“The dealerships used to buy and sell
autos in Japan. Now, buying and selling is being done through auto auctions in
Japan. There are more than 100 auto auctions. The data and information of the
autos are saved at the online server. Auto Server Co is one of the online auto
auction firms that provides a personal account and password to search an auto
online. We will use the same technology here in Myanmar to buy and sell easily
for locals,” said general secretary Aye Tun of the Myanmar Auto Industry and
Trading Ltd.
The online auto auction is one in which
participants bid for interested autos from international auto markets over the
Internet. The online auto auctions also provide the details and information of
the cars.
